01 / Made-to-Order, Cut-to-Size Products

All STONIQ products — including natural stone slabs, ceramic slabs, worktops, countertops, tiles, and related elements — are produced specifically for your project. Each piece is cut to size, edged, and finished to your individual specifications. Because these items are personalized and made to your unique measurements, they cannot be resold, restocked, or repurposed.

For this reason, and except in the case of confirmed damage or defects (see Section 05):

This applies to all cut-to-size and made-to-order products once the order has been confirmed and production has commenced.

02 / The Nature of Natural Stone & Ceramic

Natural stone is a product of nature and therefore unique in every piece. Variations in colour, veining, shade, pattern, movement, texture, and finish are inherent characteristics of the material and are not defects. Ceramic products may likewise show slight variations in tone and finish between batches.

Samples, photographs, and showroom displays are indicative only. A sample is just a small part of a whole slab or table; it gives a good understanding of the material, but colour and differences may differ. Slight differences between a sample and the finished product — and between individual slabs, tiles, or production batches — are normal and to be expected, and are not grounds for a return, refund, exchange, or complaint.

03 / Measurements & Order Confirmation

It is the customer's responsibility to verify all measurements, dimensions, quantities, material choices, finishes, edge profiles, and specifications before confirming an order. Once you approve the order confirmation and/or the technical drawing, production is scheduled and carried out on the basis of those approved details.

We strongly recommend checking all dimensions and details carefully before giving your approval. STONIQ is not responsible for errors in measurements or specifications supplied or approved by the customer.

04 / Order Cancellations

Because fabrication begins shortly after order confirmation, an order can only be cancelled before cutting or production has started. If you wish to cancel, please contact us immediately at [your email address].

Once material has been cut or production has otherwise begun, the order can no longer be cancelled, and the full order value remains due. Any deposit paid is non-refundable once production has commenced.

05 / Damage & Defects

Please inspect your product carefully upon delivery or collection. If a product arrives with transport damage or a genuine manufacturing defect, please:

• Note any visible damage on the delivery documentation at the moment of receipt;
• Report the issue to us within [48 hours] of delivery or collection; and
• Include clear photographs of the damage or defect, together with a description and your order reference.

We will assess each report individually. Where a genuine manufacturing defect or transport damage is confirmed, we will repair, replace, or otherwise remedy the affected product, in accordance with your statutory rights. This does not apply to damage caused by improper handling, transport arranged by the customer, incorrect installation, storage, or use after delivery.

06 / Samples

Material samples are provided to help you choose. As natural materials, samples are indicative of colour and finish only and may differ from the final cut-to-size product. Sample orders, where offered, are non-returnable.

07 / Your Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy affects your mandatory statutory rights. Under EU and Dutch consumer law, the standard 14-day right of withdrawal does not apply to goods that are made to a consumer's specifications or are clearly personalized — which includes our cut-to-size and made-to-order products. Your legal rights in respect of products that are defective or not as described remain fully unaffected.
